Our Mission
Depression has become an increasingly common mental illness among teenagers and young adults. The illness is typically marked by feelings of despair and anxiety, as a reaction to loss or struggle. According to the University of Michigan, as many as 8 out of 100 teens have serious depression and teens facing depression are 12 times more likely to attempt suicide. Our personal observation of this issue among our loved ones prompted our desire to bring awareness to the topic. By bringing attention to this issue, we hope to alleviate it however we can.

Substance abuse also goes hand in hand with depression, which it is often caused by.
